This Season at
Chillicothe Players Theatre
Get ready for a season full of intrigue, comedy, drama, and good ole fashion family fun! We begin with a bit of a suspense with Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Then, the whole family can delight with the upbeat, emotional, comedy Mean Girls: High School Edition where students ranging from 10-17 years old will be able to take the stage and teach the audience lessons about identity, kindness, and the dangers of popularity.
Next, put on your favorite flapper outfit and step into the 1920's with Daisy and Jay in The Great Gatsby, a riveting drama exploring wealth, illusion, obsession, and the American Dream. Finally, we wrap up the year with the classic musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where a combination of our young and mature performers will work together to blend whimsy, dark humor, and magical spectacle together.
From lighthearted comedy to unforgettable drama, this season has something for every theatre lover in Chillicothe.

But when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.

Set in the summer of 1922, the story follows Nick Carraway, a young man from the Midwest who moves to New York to work in the bond business. He rents a modest house in West Egg, next to the lavish mansion of the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby. Gatsby is known for throwing extravagant parties, hoping to attract his lost love, Daisy Buchanan, who lives across the bay with her wealthy husband, Tom Buchanan.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The New Musical
